I love fresh flowers. I love the luscious scents, the contrast of soft and bold colors, and the sweet sentiments behind a gift of them. What I don’t love is their short lifespan. And while I’d be happy to get the gift of a flowering plant, I guarantee that my brown thumb will eventually kill it.
